Dr. Jenny T. Proutsos

 

Dr. Jenny Trisevyene Proutsos completed her Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University in 2001. She graduated with a chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2007. She is certified in Medical Acupuncture (Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Programme at McMaster University, 2006).

Dr. Proutsos is certified in Impairment and Disability Rating with the American Board of Forensic Professionals (2014). She is a certified Concussion Specialist with Shift Concussion Management (2015), and also holds a Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification (2017). In addition, Dr. Proutsos is a certified custom orthotic fitter with the Orthotic Group and a certified Svigaris compression stocking fitter. She also holds a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition (Cornell University, 2013).

Dr. Proutsos  takes a very active approach to injury and pain management, and she has extensive clinical experience treating a wide range of conditions, such as back pain, neck pain, extremity pain (knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist), foot pain, headaches, work and sports related injuries, and sprain/strain injuries. Her practice style includes manual adjustive techniques, acupuncture, shockwave therapy, soft tissue therapy/myofascial release technique, and therapeutic modalities. She also incorporates stretching and exercise prescription.
